Print Sheets
Print or export entire drawing sets to PDF in a single operation with consistent naming and ordering. Provides more control than Revit's native print dialog for production-quality output.
Print Sheets
When issuing a drawing set -- whether for permit, construction, or review -- you need PDFs with consistent file names in the right order. Revit's native print dialog makes this harder than it should be. This tool batch prints or exports multiple sheets to PDF in a single operation, with more control over sheet ordering and naming conventions for output files.
Key features:
- Select sheets from a searchable list
- Choose print settings (printer, paper size, orientation)
- Configure PDF naming conventions (sheet number, sheet name, date)
- Print in a specific order (by number, by name, or custom)
Shift+Click and Settings
Shift+Click on Print Sheets opens the Settings Hub to its Export page. Previously, Shift+Click ran the "cleanup sheet numbers" utility; that utility has moved to a dedicated button inside the Print Sheets window. All print defaults (printer, page size, naming pattern, sort order) now live under Settings Hub -> Export -> Print Sheets.
