Pyvoid

Careers

Build Pyvoid with us.

We're building the most comprehensive Revit extension on the market - and the company around it. These are founding roles with real ownership, real users, and real upside.

Remote-first Founding equity Pre-launch, shipping daily

Real product, real users

Pyvoid is shipping. 200+ commands, a Revit MCP bridge, a beta cohort of BIM Managers using it on production work. You'll join a product with traction, not a deck.

Direct line to the founder

Early hires shape the roadmap and the company. You'll work directly with the founder on strategy, not three layers down on someone else's tickets.

Remote-first

Work from wherever. We optimize for written async and short, focused syncs. No commute, no theater, no time-zone gymnastics.

Meaningful equity

These are founding roles. Compensation includes competitive cash plus equity that reflects the upside of getting in early on a category-defining tool.

Marketing & Growth

Chief Marketing Officer

Remote · Full-time · Founding role

Apply

Own the Pyvoid story end-to-end. Position the product, build the demand engine, and turn a category that has tolerated mediocre tooling for a decade into one with a clear leader.

What you'll do

  • Define and own positioning, messaging, and the GTM playbook across BIM Managers, principals, and IT buyers.
  • Build and run the demand engine - content, SEO/AEO, lifecycle, paid, partnerships, events.
  • Stand up a measurement stack (PostHog already in place) and run experiments against real revenue, not vanity metrics.
  • Hire and lead marketing as the team scales - content, design, lifecycle, ops.
  • Partner closely with the founder on category design, pricing, and competitive strategy against pyRevit and Dynamo.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least one tour of duty as the senior marketing leader at a Series Seed-B startup.
  • Track record of taking a technical product from <$1M ARR to a meaningful revenue base.
  • Deep instincts for technical buyers - you can read source code, sit in on a demo, and ship copy that an engineer respects.
  • Proven ability to operate as both strategist and IC. You will write, design, and ship in the first six months.

Bonus points

  • Background in AEC/construction tech, dev tools, or Autodesk ecosystem products.
  • Experience launching a category or repositioning one against an entrenched incumbent.

Engineering

Senior Software Engineer - Revit Platform

Remote · Full-time · Founding role

Apply

Build the core of Pyvoid in C# / .NET 8. You'll own real surface area inside Pyvoid.Engine - frameworks, dockable studios, and the Revit API plumbing that makes 200+ commands feel like one product.

What you'll do

  • Design and ship features inside Pyvoid.Engine (C# / .NET 8), from API surface through UI to telemetry.
  • Own one or more frameworks end-to-end (e.g. audit, fix, wipe, view templates, or sheet automation).
  • Drive engine-first migration of legacy IronPython surfaces per ADR-009.
  • Set the bar for testing, observability, and live verification through the MCP bridge.
  • Mentor on Revit API edge cases, transaction safety, WPF/WebView2 patterns, and crash hardening.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering, with deep C# / .NET fluency.
  • Hands-on experience with the Revit API or a comparable host-API surface (AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Comfort working across the stack: API, services, WPF/XAML, and developer tooling.
  • Bias toward writing the kind of code that makes a hard problem boring.

Bonus points

  • Experience shipping commercial Revit, Inventor, or Autodesk Platform Services products.
  • Background in performance work - allocation profiling, GC tuning, transaction batching.
  • Familiarity with WebView2, MCP servers, or LLM-driven dev workflows.

Engineering

Full-Stack Web Engineer

Remote · Full-time · Founding role

Apply

Own pyvoid.com end-to-end. Marketing site, docs, account portal, billing surfaces, and the Convex-backed backends behind them. Ship a public-facing product that engineers respect.

What you'll do

  • Build features across Next.js 15 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind 4, and Convex.
  • Ship the customer-facing surfaces that drive activation, conversion, and retention.
  • Own performance, accessibility, SEO/AEO, and the design-system contract end-to-end.
  • Integrate with Clerk, Stripe, PostHog, and the extension's docs/manifest pipeline.
  • Partner with marketing and the founder on landing pages, content infrastructure, and growth experiments.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years building production web applications with TypeScript and a modern React framework.
  • Strong product instincts - you can take a fuzzy brief and ship something usable in days, not sprints.
  • Comfortable owning design execution as much as code. You can read tokens, write Tailwind, and tell good UI from bad.
  • Care about details: empty states, focus rings, motion, copy.

Bonus points

  • Convex, Clerk, or Stripe in production.
  • MDX-heavy content sites, SEO/AEO at scale, or Vercel Edge runtime experience.
  • An eye for typography and a portfolio that proves it.

Customer & Revenue

BIM Solutions Engineer

Remote · Full-time · Founding role

Apply

Be the technical voice of Pyvoid in front of customers. Run demos, shepherd pilots, and turn BIM Managers into champions inside their firms.

What you'll do

  • Run discovery, demos, and proof-of-value pilots with mid-market and enterprise architecture firms.
  • Translate Pyvoid's capabilities into the language of BIM standards, model health, and documentation automation.
  • Own pilot success - install, configuration, training, escalation paths, and feedback loop into product.
  • Partner with the founder on technical close, ROI cases, and IT/security review.
  • Build the playbooks the next solutions engineer will inherit.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in AEC technology, BIM management, or Revit-adjacent software (consulting, CAD/BIM coordinator, or vendor SE).
  • Fluency in Revit, BIM 360 / ACC, model coordination, and the day-to-day pain of a documentation set.
  • Confidence in front of a room - you can demo to a principal and a junior modeler in the same call without losing either.
  • Bias toward writing things down. Loom over Zoom, doc over meeting.

Bonus points

  • Hands-on experience with pyRevit, Dynamo, or in-house Revit tooling.
  • Background as a BIM Manager or VDC lead at an architecture or construction firm.

Marketing & Community

Developer Advocate & Community Lead

Remote · Full-time · Founding role

Apply

Build Pyvoid's presence in the BIM and Revit-developer community. Articles, videos, conference talks, and a community that thinks of Pyvoid first when standards or model health come up.

What you'll do

  • Produce technical content - articles, videos, demos, livestreams - that solves real BIM problems and shows Pyvoid in motion.
  • Build and run a community space (Discord/Slack/forum) where BIM Managers, modelers, and Revit developers actually want to hang out.
  • Speak at AU, BiLT, and regional BIM events; build relationships with influential voices in the space.
  • Act as the two-way translator between users and product - surface real workflows into the roadmap.
  • Partner with the CMO on content strategy, SEO/AEO, and lifecycle programs.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in DevRel, technical content, or community at a developer-tools or AEC-tech company.
  • Strong technical writing chops - you can ship a 1500-word article that an engineer reads to the end.
  • Comfort on camera and on stage. Editing chops a plus.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AEC, BIM, or developer tooling.

Bonus points

  • Existing audience or following in the BIM, Revit-dev, or AEC-tech community.
  • Background as a BIM Manager, computational designer, or Dynamo/pyRevit contributor.

Don't see your role?

We're always interested in talking to extraordinary people who care about AEC, dev tools, or the intersection of the two. Send us a note - tell us what you want to build and why Pyvoid is the place to build it.
