Data Export

Export Selected

Extract parameter data from selected elements to CSV or JSON for use in external tools, spreadsheets, or coordination reports. Select elements in the model, choose which parameters to include, and export the data in your preferred format.

How to use:

Select elements in the model.
Run Export Selected from the Export panel.

Printing

Print or export sheets to PDF with control over naming conventions and ordering. Print Sheets handles batch printing for submission sets, Create Print Set builds a saved ViewSheetSet from views or sheets selected in the Project Browser, and Export View as Image captures the active view as a print-quality PNG.

Export View as Image

Export the active Revit view to a high-resolution 600 DPI PNG image file. The tool renders the current view at 600 DPI for print-quality output, preserving all view graphics and overrides, then prompts for a save location before writing the file.

How to use:

Open the view you want to export.
Run Export View as Image from the Export panel (or press XV).
Choose a save location in the file dialog.

Schedule Exchange

Exchange schedule data between Revit and external spreadsheet tools. Export existing schedules as CSV files with column headers preserved, or create new Revit schedules from CSV data.

Export Schedules To CSV

Export Revit schedules as Comma-Separated Values (CSV) files with column headers intact. Useful for sharing schedule data with team members who do not have Revit access, or for processing data in Excel.

UTF-8 encoding for international character support

How to use:

Run Export Schedules To CSV from the Export panel.
Select which schedules to export.

Create Schedule from CSV

Import a CSV file to create a new Revit schedule, mapping CSV columns to Revit parameters. Useful for populating schedules from external data sources.

How to use:

Run Create Schedule from CSV from the Export panel.
Select the CSV file and configure column mappings.
Review the preview and click Create.

Schedule Import Wizard

Import CSV or Excel data as a key schedule in the current project. Select a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file and map columns to existing parameters; multi-sheet workbooks are supported. Three merge modes control row handling: Update Existing, Create New, or Skip Duplicates.

Standards Transfer

Transfer Manager

Copy sheets or view templates from the active document into one or more other open Revit project files. The shipped tool is narrower than a full standards-transfer wizard: it focuses on Sheets and View Templates, with a dry-run path for previewing the result before committing.

Separate Sheets and View Templates workflows
Sheet transfer includes the transfer-core behavior for viewports and guide-grid related content
Dry run option for previewing changes without keeping them

How to use:

Open the source document plus at least one target document in Revit.
Run Transfer Manager from the Export panel.
