Overview
The ROI Center hero panel summarizes your firm's Pyvoid investment return in a single glance: dollars saved, hours reclaimed, ROI ratio, equivalent FTE, and license utilization. This article walks through the quarterly workflow for capturing that panel as a clean 1200x180 image suitable for executive slide decks and stakeholder reports.
Prerequisites
- Pyvoid ROI Center open with at least one quarter of tracked data
- A project document open in Revit (ROI Center reads aggregate data, but requires an active document context)
Step 1 - Open ROI Center
Launch ROI Center from the Pyvoid ribbon (BIM Management panel). The hero panel renders at the top of every tab - Calculator, Dashboard, Savings, Adoption, Team, and Warning ROI.
Any tab works for the screenshot. The hero panel content is identical across all tabs.
Step 2 - Enable Skeptic Mode (Optional)
If your audience prefers confidence ranges over point estimates, toggle Skeptic Mode in the settings gear panel (top-right corner of the ROI Center window).
When Skeptic Mode is on:
- Dollar amounts display as ranges:
$10,800 - $17,600 - Hours display as ranges:
42 - 68 hrs - ROI ratio displays as ranges:
2.1x - 3.4x - The cumulative ROI chart gains a shaded confidence band
Ranges are computed from per-tool baseline confidence levels:
| Confidence | Range |
|---|---|
| High | +/- 15% |
| Medium | +/- 30% |
| Low | +/- 50% |
Enterprise-tier licenses auto-enable Skeptic Mode on first open. A "Defensibility Mode" chip appears in the hero footer when this happens. You can toggle it off at any time.
Step 3 - Copy Hero as Image
Click the Copy Hero as Image button in the settings gear panel. Pyvoid captures the hero panel as a 1200x180 PNG and places it on the clipboard.
Key details:
- The capture is DPI-aware. Whether your display runs at 100%, 125%, or 150% scaling, the output is always exactly 1200x180 pixels.
- The clipboard is automatically cleared after 30 seconds. A toast notification warns you before this happens. Paste promptly.
- License holder names are not embedded in the image metadata.
Step 4 - Paste into Your Report
Open your target application (PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides, or any image editor) and paste. The image is a standard PNG bitmap.
For best results in PowerPoint:
- Paste the image onto a blank slide
- The 1200x180 aspect ratio fits naturally in a wide-format slide footer or header region
- No resizing needed at 100% slide zoom
Step 5 - Anonymize Project Names (Optional)
If your report will be shared externally or across business units, toggle Anonymize Project Names in the settings gear panel before capturing. The Per-Project ROI table on the Dashboard tab will display Project A, Project B, etc., preserving sort order without revealing project names.
Quarterly Workflow Checklist
- Open ROI Center on the last business day of the quarter
- Verify the hero panel reflects the full quarter (check the "Last update" timestamp in the hero footer)
- Click the manual refresh button if the timestamp is stale
- Enable Skeptic Mode if presenting to finance or external stakeholders
- Enable Anonymize if the report leaves the firm
- Click Copy Hero as Image and paste into your slide deck
- Switch to the Dashboard tab and take a standard screenshot of the Per-Project table if needed
- Switch to the Warning ROI tab and capture the resolution funnel for technical stakeholders
Troubleshooting
Hero panel shows $0 / 0 hours:
No tool usage has been tracked yet. ROI Center reads from %APPDATA%/Pyvoid/Logs/ - ensure at least one Pyvoid tool has been used in a project.
Copy Hero as Image button is grayed out: The WebView2 runtime may not have finished initializing. Wait a few seconds after opening ROI Center and try again.
Pasted image is blank or cropped incorrectly: This can occur if the ROI Center window is minimized or obscured during capture. Ensure the window is fully visible and not overlapped by other windows.
