Founder Participation Agreement

Version 1.0.0 · Effective April 23, 2026

01Overview

This agreement (the "Agreement") governs your participation in the Pyvoid Founder Program (the "Program") - a time-boxed cohort of up to 30 participants who help validate the Pyvoid Revit extension (the "Software") on real projects before public release.

You are entering this Agreement in your personal capacity, not on behalf of your employer. The Program does not require IT approval, corporate email verification, or any infrastructure beyond the standard Pyvoid install.

02Eligibility

The Program is open to practicing AEC professionals - primarily BIM Managers and principals at firms of 5-100 people - who can run the Software on real projects for the program window. Tyler reviews each application and may decline for any reason. A declined applicant may be added to the waitlist.

03Your Commitments

By accepting this Agreement, you commit to:

  • Use the Software on at least one real project during the program window.
  • Submit feedback at least weekly via the BETA ribbon panel.
  • Complete the three scheduled surveys (onboarding, mid-program, wrap). Each takes under five minutes.
  • Report serious bugs within 48 hours of noticing them so we can triage before the next cohort refresh.

Falling below these minimums is fine - you simply do not qualify for the completion reward. You will not be billed, penalized, or locked out.

04Program Access & Duration

The Program window is typically seven weeks from your activation date. During that window your license tier is set to Founder (beta), which carries Pro-parity access to every Pyvoid tool at no cost.

Offline access is cached for up to 7 days, matching the standard Pyvoid offline-grace policy. A mass revocation at program close does not instantly strip offline clients - the revocation materializes on the next online Revit session.

05Completion Reward

Participants who meet the participation minimums (3 completed surveys + at least 1 bug or feature report) receive six months of Pyvoid Pro at no cost, effective the day the Program closes. The reward is granted automatically and does not require a credit card.

If you already hold a Pro subscription, the reward extends your existing subscription by six months rather than creating a duplicate billing period.

06Data Collection & Privacy

Every telemetry and feedback event emitted during the Program is enumerated in the Pyvoid Privacy Policy. Your Revit models never leave your machine. The feedback pipeline scrubs file paths, usernames, emails, and IPs before transmission.

You may pause telemetry at any time by setting PYVOID_CRASH_TELEMETRY=0 in your environment. Pausing telemetry may affect your participation counters but not your access.

Retention: completed-participant records are anonymized 90 days after program close; revoked seats purge 30 days after revocation; unresponded waitlist rows purge 180 days after signup.

07Feedback & IP

Feedback you submit (bug reports, feature requests, surveys, comments) may be used by Pyvoid to improve the Software without restriction, attribution, or compensation. You retain ownership of anything you create with the Software.

08AS-IS Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Program is a pre-release evaluation. Use the Software on projects where you have a working backup strategy, and always preview destructive operations before committing them. All destructive Pyvoid tools implement dry-run previews.

09Liability Cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PYVOID'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE PROGRAM IS LIMITED TO USD $100. IN NO EVENT SHALL PYVOID BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at will on 14 days written notice. Tyler may revoke a seat immediately for abuse, attempts to reverse-engineer the licensing system, or other material violations of this Agreement. Revoked participants do not qualify for the completion reward.

11Testimonials & Content Use

If you opt in to the testimonial consent at signup, Pyvoid may quote or name you in launch content (landing pages, case studies, social posts). You will always approve the specific quote and wording before publication. You may withdraw consent at any time via /account/consents; content published before withdrawal may remain live unless removal is specifically requested.

12Confidentiality

Discussions of unreleased features, roadmap details, and internal strategy shared through the Program are confidential unless Pyvoid publicly announces them. Public discussion of generally available Pyvoid features is not restricted.

13Changes to This Agreement

Material changes require a new version number and an email to all active participants at least 14 days before they take effect. Non-material edits (typo fixes, clarification) may be made without notice.

14Contact

Questions, corrections, or consent withdrawals: tyler@pyvoid.dev.

This Agreement is between you and Pyvoid (tylerputnam@gmail.com, operating as Pyvoid). Governing law: Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Arlington County, Virginia.
